Concert Leaflets Latin-Bach Explores the influence J.S. Bach has had on composers born in Latin countries, in both, classical and folk music. Compositions by the German master are played alongside pieces by the Venezuelans Moises Moleiro, Modesta Bor, Indio Figueredo's "Seis por derecho" in a transcription for the piano by Federico Ruiz; the Brazilian Heitor Villa-Lobos, the Argentineans Astor Piazzola and Michael Rosas-Cobian and from Italy, Ferrucio Busoni with the famous Chaconne in D minor. Clara Rodriguez devised this programme for the 250th anniversary of Bach's death and performed it at the 11th Festival Latinoamericano de Música of Caracas and at London's Bolivar Hall.
